I don’t know what’s up with the coincidence, but I always find myself working with vocalists who are/used to be from Raffles Junior College. Grottesca met up on Friday with a vocalist for a try out and everything worked pretty nicely. I think everyone kinda agreed that her voice gelled well and all. Anyway she’s Davelle, a 1st year in RJC. See what I mean? Heh. Quite pleased with how her vocals fitted our Nemo cover pretty well. Whoosh.
Absence
Not been blogging for a week cos my laptop’s been down and cranky. During the week, I met up with Mou and Brenda, hung out with Han and Jude, recorded vocals with Stacie(did not go very well), jammed with Grottesca and did praise and worship reharsals with a bunch of friendly people from Star of the Sea church. Yeah, my laptop had to spoil during the week when many things happened.
I’m glad I chose Stacie to sing for me again. Recording was disappointing only because she was struggling to catch a few melodies, but her voice really sounded fantastic once she got them right. Will be meeting her again this Wednesday for part2. Hope there is no part3. Hate to trouble my friends for so many days.
Oh yeah and the most important news? I’m enlisting to Police on Nov2nd. Hoho. I guess i’m quite lucky? That’s what Luke said, as well as many others. Hung out with him on Saturday. Had fun man. Watched Shrek3 and Prince of Persia. Not bad, both movies, but not stunning unfortunately. Saw a pair of black pants that i so badly wanted to buy, but yeap you guessed it, don’t have my size. How uttery disappointing. I’m gonna go shopping soon. Yeah.
